Zambartas Maratheftiko 2023 is a bold yet refined Cypriot red wine crafted from Maratheftiko, one of Cyprus’s most distinctive indigenous grape varieties. It opens with expressive aromas of blackberry, black cherry and ripe plum, complemented by notes of violet, sweet spice, black pepper and subtle earthy undertones.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, structured and beautifully balanced, with ripe tannins and fresh acidity providing depth and elegance. The finish is long, savoury and persistent, making it an excellent pairing for grilled meats, lamb dishes, Mediterranean stews, hearty pasta and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18 °C.
