Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched without incurring any charges.

Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled but may still be returned in accordance with this policy.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you also have a legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day after you receive your order (the “cooling-off period”), except for:

  • Perishable or consumable goods (e.g., opened bottles of alcohol)

  • Personalised or bespoke items

  • Products that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery

To cancel, please contact us in writing at info@casamediterra.co.uk within the cancellation period.


2. Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return unopened and unused products within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided they are:

  • In their original condition

  • Sealed and unopened, and

  • In their original packaging

We cannot accept returns for products that have been opened, consumed, or damaged after delivery, unless they are found to be defective.

Before returning any item, please contact info@casamediterra.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We will confirm the return procedure and delivery address.


3. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We may request photographs of the issue to assist our review. Once confirmed, we will offer either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A replacement (subject to availability)

Casa Mediterra will cover all return shipping costs for faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods.

If an item is faulty, you have a legal right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a refund within 30 days of receiving the goods.


4. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
Please note:

  • Refunds cover the cost of goods only unless the return is due to an error or damage on our part.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable for unwanted items.


5. Exchanges

We do not currently offer exchanges.
If you wish to receive a different item, please return your order for a refund and place a new order through our website.


6. Return Shipping

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, or sent in error, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping and for ensuring the products are packaged securely to prevent damage in transit.
We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, as Casa Mediterra cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged during return transit.


7. Exceptions

We reserve the right to refuse refunds for:

  • Items returned after the 30-day period

  • Opened or partially consumed bottles

  • Items not in their original condition or missing packaging

  • Items returned without prior authorisation
