From the dramatic slopes of Mount Olympus in northern Greece, Thymiopoulos Rapsani “Terra Petra” 2020 is a beautifully balanced red wine blending three noble Greek varieties: Xinomavro, Krassato, and Stavroto. Organically farmed and naturally fermented, the wine matures for 18 months in seasoned oak barrels, highlighting both the purity of fruit and the mineral intensity of Rapsani’s mountain terroir. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby colour and a fragrant bouquet of cherry, plum, spice, and dried herbs.
The palate is rich yet refined, with smooth tannins, lively acidity, and a long, savoury finish that echoes forest fruit and warm spice. Serve at 16–18 °C with roasted meats, mushroom dishes, or aged cheeses.
