Santo PDO Santorini Single Vineyard Kontarades Assyrtiko is a distinctive Greek white wine from Santorini, produced exclusively from Assyrtiko grown in the Kontarades single vineyard. The volcanic soils and coastal climate of the island give the wine its hallmark tension, minerality and freshness.
On the nose, it shows precise aromas of citrus, lemon zest and green apple, supported by saline and mineral notes characteristic of Santorini terroir. The palate is dry and medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, a firm mineral backbone and a long, crisp finish. Its focused and expressive style makes it an excellent pairing for seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, oysters and Mediterranean dishes with lemon and olive oil. Serve well chilled to highlight its freshness and structure.
