From the renowned vineyards of the Manolesakis Estate in Drama, northern Greece, the ’Exis’ Red 2023 is a masterful blend of indigenous Greek varieties: approx. 55 % Moschomavro and 45 % Limnio. The wine opens with lifted aromatic notes of gooseberry and blueberry from the Moschomavro, balanced by ripe cherry, plum and a hint of clove and cinnamon spice from the Limnio.
On the palate it offers a light-to-medium body, smooth tannins, fresh acidity and a polished finish. Ideal at around 12-14 °C, it pairs beautifully with veal, red meat dishes, wild mushrooms or aged cheeses.
