Kuzubağ Öküzgözü–Shiraz 2021/2022 is a beautifully balanced blend of Turkey’s native Öküzgözü grape and the internationally renowned Shiraz variety, grown in the cool, high-altitude vineyards of Denizli. The region’s limestone and clay soils, combined with large diurnal temperature shifts, help produce a wine of freshness, depth, and structure. It shows a deep ruby colour and expressive aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum, and gentle spice.
On the palate, it’s full-bodied yet elegant, offering ripe fruit, velvety tannins, and a long, savoury finish with notes of pepper and dark chocolate. Enjoy at 16–18 °C with grilled meats, lamb stew, or aged cheese.
