From the renowned high-altitude vineyards of Koutsi in the Nemea appellation of the Peloponnese, GAI’A Estate’s “Estate Nemea” is a benchmark Greek red wine made from 100 % Agiorgitiko. Cold-soaked to extract deep colour and refined tannins, then aged in French oak barriques for 12-18 months, this wine displays a deep ruby-garnet hue. On the nose, expect ripe dark berries, black cherry, spice, gentle violet florals and subtle cedar.
On the palate it is full-bodied yet elegant, with firm structure, a fine grip of tannin, vivid acidity for freshness, and a long, lingering finish. Food-pair it with rich grilled lamb, game, mature cheeses or slow-cooked beef dishes for a truly Greek gourmet experience.
