From the high-altitude vineyards of Nemea in the Peloponnese, Domaine Skouras crafts this exceptional 100% Agiorgitiko red wine with precision and depth. The vines grow on iron-rich clay soils at around 1,000 m elevation, where cool mountain breezes help preserve acidity and aromatic intensity. After fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic conversion and matures for 12 months in new French oak barrels, followed by additional bottle ageing.
In the glass, it displays a deep ruby colour with aromas of ripe cherries, blueberries, tobacco, and gentle spice. The palate is full-bodied yet balanced, offering refined tannins, vibrant freshness, and a long, complex finish. Serve at 16–18 °C with roasted lamb, game, or aged cheeses.
