From the historic vineyards of Carpineto in the heart of Tuscany’s renowned Chianti Classico region, the 2019 Riserva is an artful expression of finely-tuned Sangiovese. Aged in French barriques and Slovenian oak casks followed by time in steel and cement, this wine reveals an intense ruby-red colour with garnet reflections. The nose unfolds layers of ripe black cherry, raspberry, forest floor and subtle vanilla, underpinned by graphite and gently toasted oak.
On the palate it is full-bodied yet graceful, with defined savoury tannins, refreshing acidity and a long mineral-tinged finish — offering both elegance and strength. Serve at 16-18 °C and pair with roast lamb, wild boar ragù or mature Tuscan cheeses for an elevated dining experience.
