Alpha Estate Tannat Vrachos is a distinctive Greek red wine produced from Tannat grown in the Vrachos single vineyard in northern Greece. Shaped by altitude and a cooler climate, it presents a focused and structured expression of the variety, balancing power with freshness and precision.
On the nose, it shows concentrated aromas of black cherry, blackberry and dark plum, layered with notes of spice, cocoa and subtle earthy nuances. The palate is full-bodied and firm, with pronounced yet well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity leading to a long, persistent finish. Its robust structure makes it well suited to pairing with grilled red meats, lamb, slow-cooked dishes and rich Mediterranean cuisine. Decanting before serving is recommended to allow the wine to fully open.
