From the high-altitude vineyards of Florina in northern Greece, Alpha Estate’s Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a refined and expressive white wine. Crafted exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown at around 600-700 m above sea level, the wine is vinified with precision to preserve varietal clarity and the region’s cool-climate freshness. In the glass its colour is pale straw with green-tinged highlights.
On the nose you’ll find aromas of gooseberry, green apple, grapefruit zest and a hint of grassy herbaceousness. The palate is crisp and lively, with vivid citrus and tropical-fruit notes balanced by minerality and brisk acidity, finishing clean and persistent. Serve at 8-10 °C alongside grilled sea bass, herb-marinated chicken or fresh goat’s cheese for a vibrant Mediterranean experience.
