Alois Lageder Chardonnay "Löwengang" is an iconic and age-worthy Italian white wine from Alto Adige, widely regarded as one of Italy’s benchmark Chardonnays. Crafted from old vines grown in the historic Löwengang vineyard, it opens with complex aromas of ripe yellow apple, pear and citrus peel, layered with notes of toasted hazelnut, subtle butter, vanilla and fine oak spice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured and remarkably elegant, combining richness with precision and freshness. A vibrant acidity balances its creamy texture, while the long, mineral-driven finish reflects its exceptional terroir and meticulous winemaking.
