From the high-altitude vineyards of La Collina dei Ciliegi in the heart of Valpantena, this flagship Amarone brings together power and elegance in a beautifully balanced Italian red. Grapes (Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella) are hand-harvested, then laid out to dry for approximately 100 days, losing about 40% of their weight to intensify flavours. The wine then undergoes slow fermentation and spends around two years maturing in French oak barriques and tonneaux, before further bottle ageing. In the glass it glows with a deep garnet hue, releasing aromas of ripe Morello cherry, plum preserves, warming spice, leather and subtle cedar.
On the palate it delivers full-bodied richness, refined tannins, and a long, lingering finish that speaks of savoury depth and refined structure. A magnificent companion to game, braised meat or aged cheese, best served at 16-18 °C.
